Hello, Iowa!  Tomorrow morning I will be flying out to Clarinda, Iowa!  This will be my first visit to Iowa, and hopefully, it won't be my last.  I am really looking forward to this awesome opportunity!  I would love for you to join me on Friday night at J. Bruners.  I will begin singing at 8:30 p.m.  Then come visit me at BluGem Market on Saturday from 10-2.  I hope to see you there!

Well, hopefully you have noticed that I haven't posted much lately.  It's been a very busy past month.  I am so happy to say that I am finished with my spring semester, and I made the honor roll.  Whew!  I was taking chemistry, microbiology, zoology, and anatomy, plus family consumer science which is a nutrition class.  I'm glad to have all those behind me now.  Right after I took my last final, we flew to California to be with Laine for the American Idol finale.  I have to say it was definitely worth the trip.  Besides seeing Laine crowned the winner of this season's American Idol, we got to be right in front of the stage.  It was unbelievable to be there and to experience it, plus it was great seeing the friends that I made while I was there.  Now, I am home and looking forward to the summer.  I am planning to give music lessons and just relax for a while before I start back to Southeastern in the fall.  Please continue to follow my journey.  Thanks so much!  Ashton

Wow!  I have been asked to sing at several venues in the upcoming months, and I am soooooo excited about it.  This has been my dream since I was very young, and now it seems that I am beginning to see it fulfilled. I am so excited to see what my future holds.  Please check my event page for details of my upcoming performances.  I appreciate all of your love and support as I follow my dreams!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I'm so excited to announce that I have been ACCEPTED into Southeastern Louisiana University's School of Nursing.  I will begin taking the required nursing courses in the fall semester.  I know that I have a challenging road ahead, but I'm excited for this next chapter of my life.  I am so honored to be a part of this  prestigious School of Nursing!!!  Although I have been accepted into the nursing program, I will continue to pursue music.  While I would love to sing and have a career in music, I do not know what the future holds for me in the music industry.  Please continue to join me as I pursue my love of music and enter nursing school.  Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement in my journey.  It means so much to me!!   -- Ashton
